Ali’s itsy bitsy bites evaluation of “Torino restaurant “

This time my friend the chef and me decided to go and discover a new restaurant in Bahrain, and we found “Torino” they opend from 2 weeks.

Nice lighting calm  music and good space between the tables but if you look up, you feel you are in a garage.

Stars: 8/10

The staff are very polite and they know their menu but what’s annoying is, every time they will ask how’s the food, while  you are eating or  after clearing the dishes. You feel you are dining with the FBI. And another thing it will bother you for sure, its the cutlers, they have a hook in the end of them, it will bother your hand every time you use it.

Stars :8/10

All the dishes are well presented

Carmano Calamari: average, little bit salty and the calamari are thin overpowered by the bread cramps. I give it 7/10

Risotto D oro:  it was nice with  delicious tomato sauce. We give it 8/10

Main course:

Fetuccini pollo al funghi: the pasta was well cooked and had a delicious white sauce, but unfortunately the chicken was overcooked and very salty. I give it 7.5/10

Risotto seafood: the Risotto was so yummy and what stopped us from giving it 10/10 was the overcooked jumbo shrimp. Will give it 9/10.

Of curiosity we ordered vesuvio pizza.

It was tasteless overpowered by the saltiness of the black olive. We give it 3/10.

Chocolate fondo: It was crazy delicious. 10/10

Tiramisu: was average we didnt like it that much. little bit dry and didn’t like the flavor of the nuts in it.

Toilet : good size and clean.

Price: For some it will be expensive, but for me it’s reasonable due to the portion size of the dishes.

I recommend you visit “Torino”
